Architectural Designer

Position Overview:

We are seeking an Architect / Architectural Designer with hands-on experience in industrial warehouse and commercial building design and construction. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of managing multiple projects from design through construction. This position is full time and in-person.

Salary starting from $65,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

• Design industrial buildings including industrial warehouses, steel-framed buildings, commercial buildings, cold storage & food processing buildings.
• Prepare architectural drawings, and construction documents.
• Communicate with the project’s stakeholders including clients, government agencies, contractors and others.
• Coordinate closely with Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Landscape Architects, contractors, and other consultants.
• Provide construction support and respond to RFIs.
• Ensure compliance with latest CBC, California Energy Code, and local building codes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (Master's preferred but not required)
• California Architects license (preferred but not required)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in design, including industrial / commercial projects
• Strong knowledge of the CBC latest edition
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, AI applications & Microsoft office suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience:

• Industrial/warehouse or distribution center design
• Food processing knowledge
• Knowledge of tilt-up building design
