LAN Associates, Engineering Planning, Architecture Surveying, Inc., (“LAN”) is a mid-sized, multi-disciplined architectural and engineering firm. We are seeking an architectural designer to join our team! This position is an opportunity to develop new skills and advance your career. This position requires the candidate to collaborate with a team of professionals in all phases of design to solve problems, prepare construction details and produce construction documents for residential, commercial, educational, hospitality, and municipal building projects using Revit and/or AutoCAD. We are looking for a BIM “wizard” that has a mastery of Revit software.

The Candidate will document existing conditions, prepare drawings of existing conditions from field documentation, operate a computer using REVIT AutoCAD, develop architectural drawings for construction projects, and comply with company drafting standards to produce construction documents. The Candidate will be expected to routinely read, understand, interpret and prepare construction drawings. The Candidate should be detail-oriented, have exceptional organizational skills, and may be required to greet clients and the general public in person, via phone, and via email correspondence. This opportunity will expose the candidate to cross-discipline collaboration working on a diverse array of projects in various market segments.

Qualification Requirements:

· Expert in REVIT, with a proficiency in AutoCAD.

· Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in the A/E Industry.

· Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution is preferred.

· Prior experience in the design of K-12 educational facilities is preferred.

· Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

· Must be proficient in MS Outlook & MS Word; working knowledge of rendering software is a plus.

· Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Ability to be a team player, while also being an independent worker with minimal supervision.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Visit buildings and job sites to document existing conditions.

· Prepare accurate drawings and models in REVIT and/or AutoCAD from sketches after visiting job sites.

· Prepare technical details and construction drawings for projects using REVIT & AutoCAD.

· Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments with minimal supervision.

• Coordinate and integrate building systems with architectural design.
• Effectively communicate with leadership to prioritize and complete work to meet deadlines.

· Perform other related duties, as assigned.

The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 annually.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
