Architectural Designer

Al Banani is seeking an Architectural Designer to develop architectural designs and drawings for various projects. This role is responsible for translating client requirements and design concepts into technical drawings and documents for planning and construction. The position reports to the Project Architect or Senior Architect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of architectural design concepts, plans, and elevations under the direction of senior staff.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings and construction documents using CAD and BIM software.
• Incorporate structural, mechanical, and electrical system layouts into architectural plans.
• Produce 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials for client reviews.
• Research building materials, products, and systems for project specifications.
• Coordinate with internal design teams, including interior designers and engineers.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project managers and clients.
• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable building codes, regulations, and zoning requirements.
• Assist during the construction administration phase by reviewing shop drawings and responding to RFIs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in an architectural design role.
• Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite).
• Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and materials.
• Knowledge of local building codes, zoning laws, and accessibility standards.
• Ability to produce clear and accurate technical drawings and documents.
• Strong visual and spatial awareness with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
