Architectural Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Architectural Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming conceptual ideas into detailed, functional, and aesthetically compelling architectural designs. Your passion for design excellence, combined with technical expertise, will drive the development of projects from initial sketches through construction documentation. Responsibilities

  • Develop conceptual sketches and detailed design proposals using tools like SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, and Rhino3D to visualize ideas effectively.
  • Prepare comprehensive construction documents, schematics, and technical drawings that meet project specifications and building codes.
  • Utilize software such as Bluebeam and MicroStation to review plans, annotate drawings, and facilitate seamless communication across project teams.
  • Collaborate with engineers and interior designers to integrate mechanical systems, graphic elements, and interior details into cohesive designs.
  • Conduct system design analysis and create 2D animations or visualizations to present concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • Assist in site planning, interior layout development, and material selection to ensure design intent aligns with project goals.
  • Support project coordination by drafting detailed schematics, performing CAD drafting tasks, and ensuring accuracy in all documentation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with architectural design software including SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino3D (with Grasshopper 3D), ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and Bluebeam.
  • Strong skills in drafting, schematic development, system design, interior design concepts, and construction documentation.
  • Familiarity with graphic design principles and 2D animation techniques for presentation purposes.
  • Knowledge of mechanical design processes relevant to building systems integration.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings such as schematics and construction plans accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating across disciplines and presenting ideas effectively.
