Architectural Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Architectural Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming conceptual ideas into detailed, functional, and aesthetically compelling architectural designs. Your expertise will drive project development from initial sketches through construction documentation, ensuring each project aligns with client visions, budget parameters, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual designs and detailed architectural drawings using programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Chief Architect, SketchUp, ArchiCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite to visualize ideas effectively.
• Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to refine project scope and design intent through active negotiation and communication.
• Coordinate with construction teams during the building process to ensure design integrity.
• Assist in business development efforts by preparing proposals, presentations, and engaging in client meetings to foster new opportunities.
• Draft detailed construction documents and contracts while ensuring compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and renovation standards.
• Utilize programs such as Bluebeam, StackCT, etc. for markup reviews, document management, and collaboration across project teams.
• Support interior design projects by integrating aesthetic concepts with functional requirements for both commercial and residential spaces.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in architectural drafting, design development, and construction documentation with proficiency in programs such as CAD (AutoCAD), Revit, Chief Architect, SketchUp, ArchiCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of construction processes including exterior/interior design integration.
• Excellent negotiation skills for client interactions and contractor negotiations.
• Knowledge of construction estimating techniques along with budgeting experience to accurately forecast project costs.
• Familiarity with contracts management and construction management practices to oversee project design execution effectively.
• Ability to draft detailed drawings that meet regulatory standards while maintaining creative vision.
• Strong organizational skills combined with a proactive approach to business development efforts aimed at expanding client relationships.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
