We currently have an opening for an Architectual Designer / BIM Coordinator based in either or Portland, Oregon, Vancouver, Washington, or Seattle, Washington office. The person in this role will lead complex modeling efforts while mentoring teammates in implementing Revit standards; integrate Autodesk Construction Cloud on projects and collaborate with the BIM Manager and Revit Committee to advance best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project delivery leadership for complex projects (work sharing, phasing, design options, links, model performance).
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary models (links, shared coordinates, clash prevention workflows).
- Troubleshoot model health issues; implement model audits and performance tuning.
- Utilize standardized project setup workflows, including file structures and naming conventions.
- Provide support in the maintenance and evolution of Revit templates, standards, and QA/QC tools.
Qualifications:
- 5–8+ years professional experience in Architecture; A/E firm a plus.
- Expert-level Revit skills.
- Experience developing Revit templates and content libraries.
- ACC project setup and administration experience.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management.
- Service-oriented, calm under pressure, and possess strong prioritization abilities.
- Experience training/mentoring users at varying skill levels.
- Multi-disciplinary coordination experience (Architecture + MEP + Structural)
- Revit add-ins management, automation, and scripting familiarity a plus.
- Professional degree in Architecture or Engineering a plus.
Salary Range: $72,000 to $82,000
At Mackenzie, we work a hybrid model that combines both work-from-home and in-office work schedules. This position will be based in our Portland, Vancouver, or Seattle office.
