Architectural Designer - National Retail Studio

Position Summary:
In the National Retail studio, the Designer helps to support the technical implementation of the project design. They are responsible for production of Contract Documents with support and direction from Project Manager and other senior staff. The ideal candidate brings an entrepreneurial spirit and an eagerness to learn the nuances of working on roll-out retail and commercial projects. The position requires experience producing construction documents for permit in Revit, strong communication skills, and an ability to thrive in a fast-pace team environment.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program preferred.
- 1 or more years of experience in architectural practice with a focus on construction documentation required.
- Knowledge of architectural detailing, building code, and current construction standards.
- Strong proficiency in REVIT, CAD and other business software and their application to Contract Documents.
- Valid drivers license required for travel to project site visits.
- Effective English communication skills, conversational and written, for ongoing project collaboration and documentation.
