About the Role

We’re looking for a Hybrid Architectural Designer/Drafter who thrives at the intersection of design intent and production execution. This role is perfect for someone who can think like a designer, draw like a pro, and move quickly without sacrificing technical precision.

ResponsibilitiesDesign – 65%

· Develop architectural details based on sketches, markups, and design direction.

· Model architectural components with constructability and fabrication in mind.

· Interpret architectural drawings, identify gaps, and proactively propose solutions.

· Convert design intent into practical, visually intuitive technical details.

· Participate in early coordination with engineers and project leads to reduce rework.

· Contribute to the development of typical detail libraries and design standards.

Drafting – 35%

· Produce drawings, views, details, and sheet layouts for architectural packages.

· Execute redlines with speed and accuracy.

· Organize sheets and maintain consistent drawing standards.

· Track revisions, maintain document control, and ensure drawing sets remain aligned.

· Perform first-pass QC before drawings are reviewed by the Architectural Lead Engineer..

Qualifications

· Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Preferred.

· 2–3 years of experience in architectural or structural detailing/design.

· Strong modeling and drafting skills (Revit, AutoCAD, or similar tools).

· Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings with minimal oversight.

· A detail-oriented mindset, meaning clarity, accuracy, and organization come naturally to you.

· Ability to move fast, make decisions, and communicate clearly when something doesn’t look right.

· A passion for architectural steel and the craft of turning concepts into constructible solutions.
