Architectural Designer/Draftsperson

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Architectural Designer/Draftsperson to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming conceptual ideas into precise, comprehensive architectural drawings and models. Your expertise will support project development from initial sketches through detailed construction documentation, ensuring designs are both functional and aesthetically compelling. Duties

• Develop detailed architectural drawings, schematics, and construction documents using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
• Create 3D models and visualizations with tools like SketchUp, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, and 3ds Max to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Assist in system design, interior design, mechanical design, and graphic design tasks to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Prepare accurate drafting plans for construction purposes while adhering to building codes and project specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to refine designs and resolve technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Use Bluebeam for digital markup, review, and sharing of project documents efficiently.
• Support the creation of technical schematics and detailed drawings that facilitate seamless construction workflows.
• Contribute to innovative design solutions by integrating 2D animation techniques and interior design principles where applicable.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation to ensure clarity and accessibility for all team members.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in architectural drafting or design roles with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency across multiple software platforms including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, and SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with construction processes, system design, interior architecture, mechanical systems, and graphic presentation techniques.
• Skilled in creating detailed schematics and technical drawings aligned with industry standards.
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and best practices in sustainable design is preferred.
• Strong understanding of CAD workflows combined with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly through visual representations such as 2D plans or 3D models.
• Experience with digital markup tools like Bluebeam is a plus.
• A degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field is highly desirable; relevant certifications or licenses are advantageous but not mandatory. Join us in shaping innovative spaces! Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
