Architectural Designer/Project Coordinator

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Architectural Designer/Project Coordinator to join our innovative design team. Duties

• Develop and refine architectural designs using AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite to produce compelling visual presentations and detailed construction documents.
• Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
• Oversee the drafting process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards through CAD and BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools.
• Manage construction documentation including specifications, contracts, and renovation plans while collaborating with contractors and clients.
• Utilize project management software to track progress, facilitate communication, and streamline workflows across teams.
• Conduct construction estimating and budgeting activities to support project feasibility assessments.
• Facilitate negotiations with clients, vendors, and contractors to secure favorable terms and foster strong relationships that support business development efforts.
• Support business growth by assisting in proposals, presentations, and client meetings focused on interior design projects and renovation opportunities.
• Use Bluebeam for document review and markup during design development and construction phases.
• Coordinate with construction management teams to oversee site activities, ensuring compliance with design intent and safety standards.
• Assist in the development of project schedules using project scheduling tools like NavisWorks or similar software.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related field
• Proven experience in architectural drafting, design development, and project coordination within a professional setting.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Bluebeam, NavisWorks or similar project scheduling tools.
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes, budgeting practices, contracts management, and construction management principles.
• Experience working on renovation projects or interior design initiatives is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills for effective negotiation with clients and team members alike.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines. Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
