Architectural Designer/Project Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Architectural Designer/Project Manager to lead the design and execution of diverse architectural projects. In this role, you will blend creative vision with technical expertise to develop compelling designs, manage project workflows, and ensure seamless communication between clients, consultants, and construction teams. Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process by creating detailed schematics, conceptual sketches, and comprehensive construction documents using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other programs.
  • Work with clients on site, in office, and over the phone to develop designs and drawings for a multitude of projects ranging from simple remodels to complex multi-million dollar homes.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables while coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors to meet project milestones.
  • Oversee drafting teams and ensure high-quality standards in all technical drawings.
  • Be able to review documentation for accuracy.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, verify compliance with design specifications, and resolve on-site challenges swiftly.
  • Prepare detailed presentations incorporating graphic design principles and 2D animation techniques to showcase concepts compellingly.

Experience

  • Proven experience (between 3-5 years) in architectural design and project management within a professional setting.
  • Proficiency with CAD software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other programs.
  • Knowledge of drafting standards, schematic development, construction documentation, and interior design principles.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly through drawings, presentations, and verbal interactions.
  • Be familiar with residential construction terms and practices.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
