Architectural Drafter/Designer

AMD Architecture is seeking a CAD Drafter/Designer for a full time position. We are a small office of 4 with a passion for creative, sustainable design. Visit www.amdarchitecture.com

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Under the direction of the Project Architect, assists in all design and/or production aspects of project development

2. CAD production; materials research, detail development and coordination with consultants

3. Coordination of building systems, building codes and regulatory requirements

5. Prepare interior design concepts and selections

Qualifications:

Knowledge of architectural design practices and experience in design development and presentation documents. Ability to interpret plans and specifications. Ability to perform preliminary site planning analysis programming and planning research. Basic knowledge of codes and ordinances. Capability to perform routine architectural drafting and graphic delineation in addition to solving design and detail problems under direct supervision.

Position Requirements:

1 . Educational requirements: Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting/Design or related discipline.

2. Experience in an architectural or construction related field preferred.

3 . Competence in CAD programs, including 3D representations. Vectorworks and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
