Architectural Drafter/Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Architectural Drafter/Designer to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will transform conceptual ideas into precise technical drawings and 3D models, supporting the development of architectural projects from initial sketches to construction documentation. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed architectural drawings, schematics, and construction documents using CAD software such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Revit, MicroStation, or Rhinoceros 3D.
• Create and refine 3D models and visualizations with tools like SketchUp, Grasshopper 3D, 3ds Max, or SolidWorks to illustrate design concepts effectively.
• Collaborate closely with architects and design teams to translate conceptual ideas into precise technical plans and specifications.
• Prepare system designs and interior layouts that align with project requirements and client visions.
• Assist in drafting mechanical systems, graphic elements, and interior features to enhance overall project presentation.
• Review project schematics for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to building codes and standards.
• Support the integration of innovative design techniques such as 2D animation or graphic design elements for presentation purposes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in architectural drafting or design with proficiency in CAD platforms including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, or Rhinoceros 3D.
• Strong skills in SketchUp, Bluebeam, Grasshopper 3D, SolidWorks, and other relevant modeling or visualization tools.
• Knowledge of construction processes, system design principles, interior design fundamentals, and mechanical systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to produce accurate technical drawings and detailed schematics efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with drafting standards, building codes, and industry best practices for architectural projects.
