Architectural Draftsman (3 Positions)

Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years in Civil Construction / Building Projects

Location: New Industrial Area, Qatar

Requirement: Local candidates only

Job Description:

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and shop drawings for civil construction projects.
• Convert sketches, design concepts, and engineer/architect instructions into accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD / Revit.
• Coordinate with Structural, MEP, and Civil teams to ensure drawings are aligned and free from clashes.
• Develop and update As-Built drawings, ensuring they reflect actual site conditions and revisions.
• Review project specifications and ensure all drawings comply with Qatar Construction Standards (QCS) and relevant codes.
• Support the design team in preparing detailed layouts, finishes schedules, door/window schedules, and architectural detailing.
• Ensure proper documentation, revision control, and organized drawing records.
• Attend site when required to verify measurements, resolve drawing-related issues, and support site execution teams.
• Modify and update drawings based on consultant comments or site instructions.
• Work collaboratively with Engineers, Architects, and project teams to meet project deadlines.

Candidate Requirements:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Architectural Draftsman in civil construction, buildings, or infrastructure projects (Qatar/GCC experience preferred).
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.
• Sound knowledge of building materials, architectural details, and construction methodologies.
• Ability to interpret architectural & engineering designs, BOQs, and project specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Must be locally available in Qatar with valid QID and transferable visa (preferred).
