Architectural Draughtsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman with proven UAE experience in interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing shop drawings, authority submission drawings, as-built drawings, and coordinating with project teams to ensure accurate and timely approvals in line with UAE regulations and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, construction drawings, and authority submission drawings for fit-out projects.
• Develop and update as-built drawings based on site conditions and approved changes.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Designers, and Site Teams to incorporate design intent and site requirements.
• Prepare drawings for submissions to consultants and relevant authorities as per project requirements.
• Revise drawings based on consultant comments and site feedback.
• Ensure all drawings comply with UAE standards, local authority guidelines, and project specifications.
• Maintain proper drawing registers, document control, and version tracking.
• Support material submittals with technical drawings where required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in the UAE as a Draughtsman in interior fit-out or construction projects.
• Strong experience in preparing submission drawings for consultants and authorities (DM / relevant authorities).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
• Good understanding of fit-out details, MEP coordination, and construction standards.
• Familiar with shop drawings, IFC drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Ability to interpret architectural and MEP drawings accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with residential and commercial fit-out projects in the UAE.
• Knowledge of authority approval processes and drawing submission workflows.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
