ROLE

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented interior designer to join our team. If you have a passion for transforming spaces, a strong architectural and interior design background, and a desire to collaborate in a dynamic environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Requirements

  • Develop a preliminary floorplan design as well as interior design, including selections for all finishes, in line with the clients’ taste and budget, with the assistance of a drafter
  • Present designs to the client and respond to feedback
  • Collaborate with project managers and contractors to ensure designs are executed accurately and efficiently during construction.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and resolve design-related challenges as they arise.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, integrating their vision and feedback throughout the design process.
  • Stay current on industry trends, materials, and best practices to deliver modern, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing designs.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited program.
  • 5+ years of professional experience, with a focus on residential construction and specifically remodeling projects.
  • Proven expertise in floorplan design, finishes, and materials, and an understanding of the unique challenges involved in remodeling existing homes.
  • Proficiency in architectural drafting software such as AutoCAD, Chief Architect, Revit, or similar tools; familiarity with Chief Architect a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary plus quarterly profit sharing for a total annual compensation of $80,000 – 100,000 depending on experience
