Architectural Metal Fabricator / Welder

We are a small custom fabrication shop specializing in steel windows and doors for high-end residential and commercial projects.

This is custom fabrication, not production work. Most units are fabricated by a single fabricator from start to finish, so craftsmanship, attention to detail, and pride in your work matter. While you will work independently, our projects often include multiple units built by different team members, so communication and consistency are important.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom steel window and door assemblies from shop drawings
• Layout, fit, cut, weld, grind, and finish steel components
• Operate shop equipment including cold saw, bandsaw, drill press, ironworker, roll bender, and grinders
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Coordinate with team members to maintain consistency across projects
• Assist with other shop tasks as needed

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of fabrication experience, preferably in steel windows, doors, railings, stair systems, ornamental metalwork, or similar custom architectural metal projects

• Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills
• Ability to read and work from shop drawings
• Demonstrated track record of producing quality work with attention to fit, finish, and detail
• Able to work independently and communicate effectively with the team
• Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 75 lbs., and work in an unconditioned warehouse environment
• Forklift experience is a plus
