Description
Southern Architecture Workshop (SAW), is looking for a talented Project Manager to join our growing team in Nashville, TN!
The ideal candidate will have strong design abilities, excellent project management skills, and the ability to creatively solve problems. Expert communication and strong interpersonal skills are integral to the success of this role. A keen attention to detail paired with a curiosity for how things are made are core traits of this individual. This is an in-person position. Come grow with us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop architectural projects, ensuring design excellence.
- Develop and present design concepts, including sketches, renderings, and presentations.
- Oversee the preparation of architectural drawings, and documentation.
- Write specifications as needed, and oversee their preparation.
- Select appropriate materials and assemblies, and oversee detail development.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met in accordance with the contract.
- Perform construction administration including site visits and inspections.
- Maintain project schedules and budgets, addressing any changes or challenges that arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution is required.
- 8+ years of professional experience.
- Prior success leading an architectural project team.
- Relevant commercial, academic, or civic project experience.
- Proficiency in architectural design software, including Revit, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainable design practices.
- Licensed Architect preferred.
- LEED Accredited Professional preferred.
