Overview
The Architectural Rendering Designer plays a key role in bringing custom home designs to life. Working within a residential design‑build environment, this position transforms architectural concepts into compelling visual experiences that help clients understand and feel confident in their home’s design before construction begins.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce photorealistic 3D renderings, animations, and visualizations for custom residential projects
- Translate architectural plans, sketches, and design meetings into accurate digital models
- Develop realistic materials, lighting, landscaping, and interior finishes that reflect actual selections
- Create visual assets for client presentations, design reviews, and marketing materials
- Support sales and design teams by generating visuals that communicate options, upgrades, and design variations
- Maintain organized project files, material libraries, and rendering workflows
- Stay current with residential design trends, rendering technologies, AI and visualization best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software such as SketchUp, V‑Ray, Lumion
- Strong understanding of residential architecture, construction details, and interior design principles
- Ability to interpret floor plans, elevations, and material schedules with precision
- Excellent eye for lighting, color, composition, and realistic material representation
- Strong communication skills and the ability to incorporate feedback from designers and clients
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Visualization, or related field
- Experience working with custom home builders, residential architects, or design‑build firms
- Familiarity with AutoCAD
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite for post‑production and presentation graphics

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
