Job Title: Architectural & Structural Draftsman

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years – UAE (Dubai) Engineering Consultancy

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural and structural drawings for residential, commercial and mixed-use projects in compliance with Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees and other local authority standards.
• Develop concept, schematic, detailed and construction drawings based on design inputs from architects and structural engineers.
• Prepare and update shop drawings, IFC drawings and as-built drawings as per project requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and alignment of drawings.
• Review and incorporate client and authority comments into revised drawings promptly.
• Prepare drawings for authority submissions and ensure compliance with Dubai code requirements.
• Assist in BIM coordination and clash detection where required.
• Manage and maintain drawing registers and document control in accordance with company standards.
• Conduct site coordination and verification as required to ensure drawings match site conditions.
• Support the engineering team in preparing quantity take-offs, schedules and material specifications from drawings.
• Ensure all drawings are produced within project timelines and quality standards.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory) and good knowledge of Revit.
• Solid understanding of UAE building codes, standards and approval processes.
• Ability to independently handle drawings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
