Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Architectural, Structural & Civil Designer to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive building and infrastructure designs that blend aesthetic appeal with structural integrity and civil engineering principles. Your expertise will drive the development of architectural concepts, structural schematics, and civil layouts, ensuring projects meet safety standards, client specifications, and environmental considerations. Duties
- Develop detailed architectural, structural, and civil drawings using advanced CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and Rhinoceros 3D.
- Create 3D models and visualizations with SketchUp, Grasshopper 3D, 3ds Max, and 2D animation tools to communicate design intent effectively.
- Prepare schematics, construction documents, and technical specifications aligned with project requirements and local building codes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including mechanical designers and graphic artists—to integrate system designs and interior concepts seamlessly.
- Conduct site visits to gather data for accurate drafting; review construction progress to ensure adherence to design plans.
- Utilize Bluebeam for document review, markups, and project coordination to streamline communication across teams.
- Assist in developing innovative solutions for system design challenges while maintaining a focus on sustainability and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in architectural, structural, or civil design with proficiency in CAD-based software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, Rhinoceros 3D, and SolidWorks.
- Strong skills in drafting, schematics creation, graphic design, and system design principles.
- Familiarity with construction processes and building codes relevant to architectural and civil engineering projects.
- Ability to develop detailed technical drawings for mechanical systems or interior spaces as needed.
- Experience with 3D modeling software including Grasshopper 3D and 3ds Max is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- A background in interior design or mechanical design is a plus to support integrated project development.
