Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for aesthetics, space planning, and materials, and will work closely with clients, contractors, and vendors to deliver functional and visually appealing interior spaces that meet project goals, budgets, and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to assess needs, preferences, budgets, and project requirements
• Develop design concepts, mood boards, space plans, and color schemes
• Prepare drawings, layouts, specifications, and 3D renderings as needed
• Select furniture, fixtures, finishes, lighting, and materials
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors
• Manage multiple projects from concept through completion
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Prepare cost estimates and track project budgets
• Oversee installations and site visits to ensure design intent is executed
• Present design proposals clearly and professionally to clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field
• 2 years of experience in residential and/or commercial interior design
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, and space planning
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• NCIDQ certification or working toward certification
• Experience with sustainable or ADA-compliant design
• Knowledge of project management and procurement processes
