Architecture Summer Internship 2026 (Texas Airbnb)

BEAU Property Management is looking for Summer Semester interns for immediate hire. Interns are going to be working on conceptualizing unique designs for Airbnb, as they assist in brainstorming new developments. In particular, this Summer we are going to be focusing strictly on a beach lot in Texas.

Participants in the internship are going to get real-life, hands-on experience designing real estate development projects. The four design briefs include:

Tiny House (1 story)

Italian Narrow Beach House (1 to 2 stories)

Modern Narrow Beach House (1 to 2 stories)

Spanish Narrow Beach House (1 to 2 stories)

Due to the complexity and high skill-level involved, we are asking for serious applicants only- ideally those who are in college studying architecture or have at least a small working portfolio. Use and possession of CAD (computer-assisted design) software is a MUST. Lumion, Enscape, and Rhino are a plus. Desire to work in modern and classical styles preferred.

The internship is structured as a weekly program, during which participants submit one concept per week, for at least 1 month. There is an option to do an additional month, completing an additional 2 projects, 2 weeks each. The program may go on longer depending on interns' willingness to continue working on additional projects, or based on school requirements. The internship does not offer pay, but we do allow you to take the internship for college credit. Being a student or taking the program for credit is not a requirement for the internship, though.

This opportunity is ideal for students and young industry professionals to build their portfolios, expand their network, and gain professional guidance and management from a Master's recipient, an AIA accredited mentor, and an AXP Supervisor for those looking to gain hours towards their NCARB certification and licensure.
