Karak House Coffee and Co. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Manager to join our team. As an integral part of our management team, you will oversee staff, ensure food quality and safety standards, and contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including shift management and staff supervision
• Ensuring quality standards maintained across all menu items
• Manage POS systems such as Toast
• Supervise staff training, development, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team
• Control inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and uphold sanitation standards
• Handle customer service issues promptly to maintain high guest satisfaction levels
• Assist with hiring processes, including interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a barista or barsita lead/manager
• Strong background in management and coffee
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast
• Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in a coffee shop
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with staff training & development, interviewing, and team management
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on inventory control
• Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience preferred; leadership qualities essential for success in this role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
