Area Manager (Consumer Brands)

Job Responsibilities:


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Modern Trade outlets, including store managers, retail chains, and category buyers.

  • Ensure consistent product availability, proper stock rotation, and expiry management across assigned outlets.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets for designated Modern Trade accounts.

  • Negotiate product placements, shelf space allocation, display agreements, and promotional activities.

  • Execute trade campaigns, promotional programs, and in-store activations effectively.

  • Monitor competitor activities and identify potential opportunities for business growth.

  • Maintain planogram compliance and ensure strong in-store visibility through proper merchandising standards.

  • Coordinate closely with the Supply Chain and Distribution teams to ensure smooth product delivery and replenishment.

  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market feedback for management review.

  • Supervise and support merchandisers or promoters to ensure operational efficiency (if applicable)


Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

  • Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)

Experience:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Chemical Industries, Packaged Food/Beverage, Group of Companies, FMCG Manufacturing, Toiletries, or Wholesale sectors.

  • Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
