AREA MANAGER - JANITORIAL

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Area Manager to oversee multiple service locations, ensuring exceptional quality and operational excellence across all sites. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate cleaning, custodial, janitorial, and facilities maintenance teams across multiple locations to ensure consistent service quality.
• Develop and implement operational procedures for commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, residential painting, and floor care to optimize efficiency.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor cleanliness, safety compliance, and maintenance standards.
• Train and mentor team members in proper cleaning techniques, buffing, porter duties, and other custodial tasks.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper usage.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, address concerns promptly, and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
• Lead safety initiatives by enforcing health protocols and ensuring all staff adhere to safety guidelines during maintenance activities.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or custodial work with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
• Extensive knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and stripping for various surfaces.
• Strong background in commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, or facilities maintenance environments.
• Experience with residential painting projects is a plus for comprehensive site management.
• Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple sites.
• Strong communication skills for training staff, coordinating with clients, and reporting on operational performance.
