Area Manager/Janitorial
The Area Manager owns day-to-day operations for a group of client sites. You’ll hire, train, and coach janitorial crews, monitor quality through regular inspections, and make sure every customer concern gets swift, complete follow-up.
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 10 hours, 10pm-8:30am
Key Responsibilities Include:
Team Leadership

Onboard and train new cleaners (hands-on shadowing included)

Set clear shift and area assignments; adjust staffing as needed

Address performance or attendance issues promptly and document actions
Quality & Customer Care

Inspect each facility on a set schedule, correct deficiencies on the spot

Respond to client questions or complaints the same day and follow through to closure

Recommend and coordinate special projects (deep cleans, floor work, etc.)
Operations & Compliance

Review and approve employee timecards; submit payroll data accurately and on time

Track and reorder supplies to maintain par levels without waste

Enforce all safety policies; investigate and report any accidents immediately

Complete required company training and certifications
Qualifications

Language: Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred

Experience: 2+ years of progressive management in janitorial or facilities services

Solid judgment under pressure; able to prioritize and meet deadlines

Strong customer-service mindset and attention to detail

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Organized, able to juggle multiple sites and tasks at once

Proficiency with MS Office (email, spreadsheets, documents)

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
