Work Location: Tamil Nadu (Chennai / Coimbatore / Madurai / Tiruchirappalli / Salem / Tiruppur / Erode – as required)
Reporting To: Regional Sales Head / Managing Director
1. Job Summary
The Area Sales Manager will oversee and manage sales operations for uPVC doors, windows, and profiles in the assigned region of Tamil Nadu. The role includes team management, market development, key account handling, and ensuring sales target achievement.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Sales Target Achievement
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for Tamil Nadu.
- Generate sales through builders, architects, contractors, channel partners, and fabricators.
- Identify large construction projects across Tamil Nadu and pitch uPVC solutions.
B. Team Leadership
- Lead and supervise Sales Executives / Business Development Executives in the region.
- Monitor daily field activities and performance of the sales team.
- Provide training, guidance, and motivation to ensure results.
- Conduct weekly review meetings and set action plans.
C. Market & Channel Expansion
- Develop new dealers, distributors, and fabricator partners for uPVC products.
- Build strong relationships with architects, PMC (Project Management Consultants), interior designers.
- Conduct promotional activities, site presentations, and product demos.
- Track competitor products, pricing, and market strategies across Tamil Nadu.
D. Customer Relationship & Key Accounts
- Personally handle major clients and high-value orders.
- Ensure smooth coordination between factory, installation team, and customer.
- Address complaints, provide technical support, and ensure after-sales satisfaction.
E. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain MIS reports: Sales funnel, order status, collection tracking.
- Prepare monthly action plans and performance reports.
- Maintain customer and project database for Tamil Nadu region.
3. Required Skills
- Strong communication in Tamil & English.
- Leadership and team-management skills.
- Strong negotiation and client-handling ability.
- Good understanding of Tamil Nadu construction & building materials market.
- Knowledge of uPVC windows/doors (preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office, Email, and CRM tools.
4. Qualifications
- Any Degree or Diploma.
- 3–7 years of sales experience in uPVC / building materials / construction products.
- Experience in team handling or senior field sales preferred.
