Area Sales Manager

ob Title: Area Sales Manager (ASM) – Optical Industry
Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to lead and grow our optical retail business in Raipur and nearby regions. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of the eye care/optical industry, and a proven track record in sales management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and drive sales performance across assigned stores/territories
• Lead, train, and motivate store managers and sales teams to achieve targets
• Develop and execute area-wise sales strategies to increase revenue and market share
• Monitor daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and take corrective actions
• Ensure excellent customer experience and adherence to brand standards
• Coordinate with operations, marketing, and supply chain teams
• Handle dealer/store expansion and market development activities
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback

Preferred Education:

• B. Optom (Bachelor of Optometry) preferred
• Candidates with strong experience and skills in the eye care / optical industry will also be considered

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Team Leader
• Mandatory experience in the optical or eye care industry
• Proven ability to manage teams and achieve sales targets

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• In-depth knowledge of optical products, eye testing, and retail operations
• Target-driven and analytical mindset
• Willingness to travel within the assigned area
