Area Sales Manager – Home Care Category

WBM International is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth and strengthen market presence for our Home Care product portfolio. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in the FMCG Home Care category and a strong understanding of distributor and retail management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Manage and develop relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail accounts.
• Ensure effective market coverage and product availability across assigned areas.
• Execute sales and trade marketing strategies to increase market share.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
• Lead, train, and motivate sales representatives to achieve business objectives.
• Conduct regular market visits and provide timely sales performance reports.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand distribution networks.
• Ensure implementation of company policies and sales standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of FMCG sales experience.
• Mandatory experience in the Home Care Category (cleaning products, household care products, detergents, etc.).
• Strong distributor management and territory development experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.

Preferred Background:

Candidates with experience in brands related to household cleaning products, detergents, kitchen care, laundry care, and other home care categories will be given preference.

Candidates with experience limited to pharmaceuticals, telecom, banking, or unrelated industries will not be considered.
