Job Title: Area Manager - Activation

Location: Guwahati, Assam

Industry: Retail – Furniture & Home Décor

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager – Activation to oversee sales performance and studio operations across a defined region. The role involves managing company-owned and franchise studios, driving business growth, and ensuring consistent operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Achieve sales and business targets including footfalls, conversions, and revenue.

- Manage day-to-day studio operations and ensure adherence to processes.

- Coach and develop studio teams on sales, customer handling, and product knowledge.

- Monitor performance across multiple channels (inbound, outbound, partners, B2B, modular, etc.).

- Plan and execute local marketing activities and events to boost visibility and footfalls.

- Conduct audits for studio upkeep, inventory, and visual merchandising.

- Oversee administrative tasks like budgeting, bill verification, and reporting.

- Ensure high levels of customer experience and service delivery.

- Support hiring, training, and capability-building efforts when required.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong sales and team management experience in Furniture and Home Décor industry.

- Good business understanding of revenue, costs, and profitability.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and operational planning skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong execution focus.

- Knowledge of retail in Furniture and Home Décor industry best practices and customer-centric operations.
