Area Sales Manager (ASM)

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales operations in the meat industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing key customers, expanding market presence, and achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales targets
  • Manage and grow distributor, wholesaler, hotel, restaurant, and institutional clients
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market reach
  • Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
  • Lead, guide, and motivate the sales team to improve performance
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and monthly performance reviews
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure timely delivery
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and company policies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the meat, poultry, seafood, or FMCG industry
  • Strong knowledge of fresh and frozen meat products
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage distributors and key accounts
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in B2B and institutional sales
  • Strong understanding of cold chain and food supply operations
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,847.66 - ₹60,000.00 per month
