Area Sales Manager Maghreb

We are seeking a talented Area Sales Manager for the Maghreb region, based in Istanbul (TR), to join our Sales team at Dayco.

Summary of the position:

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving growth within the Maghreb territory. This dynamic role requires a balance between independent business development, strategic account management for our Tier clients, and collaborative support for our Key Account Managers (KAMs) within the region. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, autonomous sales professional capable of managing the full sales cycle while fostering strong local relationships

Main duties & Responsibilities :

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of sales accounts within the assigned geographic region, and based on specific customer potential, revenue impact, or regional requirements.
  • Own the entire sales process for assigned accounts, from initial prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing deals.
  • Develop deep, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their business needs and positioning our solutions as the ideal partner.
  • Act as the primary local contact and service provider, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and responsiveness within the territory.
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and quotas, contributing significantly to the company’s overall regional revenue objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regional business dynamics to identify new opportunities and challenges.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in our CRM system

Requirements and Skills :

  • Based in Istanbul
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial roles, preferably in the Automotive Aftermarket and/or in Maghreb.
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into clear commercial action plans
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, market trends, opportunities and competitive landscape
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and influence key stakeholders
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
  • Full-cycle sales capability (prospecting/cold calling through negotiation and closing)
  • Innovation & continuous improvement mindset
  • Solid market knowledge and understanding of sales processes and best practices
  • Strong project management capabilities and ability to drive execution through data-based decisions
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for proposals, reporting and presentations
  • Proven leadership skills to lead business reviews and drive follow-up actions
  • Demonstrated experience managing a P&L and consistently achieving or exceeding targets
  • Strong understanding of key commercial and financial KPIs, including Net Sales (NS), Net Margin (NM), Contribution Margin (CM) and EBITDA
  • Ability to monitor and drive performance through turnover growth, market share, and product mix optimization
  • Proven focus on new customer acquisition and pipeline development
