Area Sales Manager - Turkey

As part of our continued growth, we are strengthening our presence in Turkey and Central Asia – and we’re looking for a dedicated and self-driven Area Sales Manager to join our newly established Central Asia sales team.

Location: Home-based in Turkey - preferably with easy access to the main areas where broiler and egg production takes place.
Travel: Approx. 60%
SKOV headquarters: Denmark


Your impact

As Area Sales Manager, you’ll be instrumental in driving SKOV’s success in Turkey as your main responsibility. And with the opportunity to work in other countries in the Central Asia region.

You will:

  • Develop and execute the go to market strategy for the Turkish market.
  • Drive direct sales to broiler and egg producers and secure implementation of our key account program.
  • Develop and support our dealers.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers and distributors.
  • Lead negotiations with decision-makers on quality solutions.
  • Secure service and after-market support for our customers.
  • Manage sales budgets and coordinate deliveries with our Customer Center and Global Service teams.
  • Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities and ensure strong communication between the market and headquarters regarding changes in customer needs and trends.
  • Represent SKOV at industry exhibitions and seminars.
  • Differentiate SKOV’s high-end climate solutions from local low-cost manufacturers through ROI and bird performance results to prove our value.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of proven experience in B2B sales and distributor management.
  • Background in agro-industry equipment sales - ideally with a strong network in the swine or poultry.
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Experience selling complex projects and working with distributors and producers.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across cultures.
  • Fluency in Turkish, and you are used to English as the working language when you communicate with colleagues in other countries.
  • Deep understanding of the Turkish poultry integrator landscape and established contacts within the top 20 livestock companies in the country.

Qualifications & experience

  • Minimum 5+ years in B2B direct sales, within agriculture, equipment, or environmental systems.
  • Experience with distributors or producers in the swine or poultry industry.
  • Background in agriculture, engineering, or business, and a relevant technical degree.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively. There will be occasional trips to Denmark.
