Area Sales Officer / Sales manager / sales officer Location: Bharuch Department: Sales & Marketing Reports To: Regional Head / General Manager – Sales Experience Required: 2 –4 years in Steel/TMT/Industrial product sales Company Overview :

Key Responsibilities:

· Sales Generation and Target Achievement:

· Generate leads and convert them into sales by identifying potential customers (e.g., contractors, infrastructure projects).

· Achieve individual and team sales targets.

· Develop and execute territory plans to maximize sales opportunities.

· Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to order closure and payment collection.

· Dealer Network Management:

· Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and sub-dealers.

· Visit dealer counters regularly to understand their needs and address any concerns.

· Identify and onboard new dealers to expand the company's network.

· Provide support and training to dealers on product knowledge and sales techniques.

· Customer Relationship Management:

· Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable TMT solutions.

· Provide excellent customer service and address any queries or complaints promptly.

· Maintain regular communication with customers to build strong relationships.

· Market Knowledge and Analysis:

· Stay updated with product knowledge and industry trends.

· Conduct market analysis to identify competitor activities and opportunities.

· Gather and analyse market data to identify trends and opportunities.

· Reporting and Administration:

· Prepare and submit regular sales reports to management.

· Follow up on outstanding payments and bad debtors.

· Manage and track sales performance metrics.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

· Experience:

· Experience in sales, preferably in the construction materials industry (e.g., TMT bars, steel).

· Experience in channel sales, handling dealers and distributors.

· Knowledge:

· In-depth knowledge of TMT bars, cement, and related construction materials.

· Skills:

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

· Strong sales and customer service skills.

· Ability to build and maintain relationships.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.

· Other:

· Ability to travel within the assigned territory.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
