Interior Designer

Arive Homes Design Team is looking for an outgoing, friendly, Interior Designer, this new team member must be able to work with urgency and with a variety of different customer and team member personalities. Do you like to use your experience to guide Homebuyer’s through an option selection process? And follow predefined policy & procedure? Interior Designer Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops design concepts within an established preprocess, produces real Property Addendums for options selected.
  • Meets with clients to make custom option selections, creating the construction requirements.
  • Work with and follows Estimating custom option selection pricing process, also works with construction department for all per-construction meetings.
  • Works with Architectural to Create design concepts and plan-set presentations with finish selections..
  • Presents design concepts and takes detailed notes to address Home-buyer requests.
  • Creates project budgets and maintains up-to-date documentation of all activities.
  • Provides follow-up support with home buyers.
  • Develops and maintains productive and effective relationships with customers.

Interior Designer Qualifications / Skills:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and self- starter
  • Ability to listen and understand home buyer needs and record in written form through established systems accurately to get home buyer sign-off/approval.
  • Familiarity with all phases of projects, potential issues, and proven history to produce projects
  • Knowledge of industry materials.
  • Knowledge of New Home Building Processes and Home Components.
  • Creative eye for detail in preparation of exhibit materials.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • Experience preferred 1yr +
  • Experience with new home building option selections.
  • Proficient in understanding, communicates well written and verbally.
  • Possesses great E.Q./ Emotional /Soft Skills and great customer service attitude and follow through.
  • Knowledge of programs like ECI Marks Systems and Arcsite maybe helpful.
  • Team Player, can follow a predefined process.

Full time hours 8am-5pm Monday - Friday, some flexibility will be required to meet with Home buyers.

Compensation: Base ($40,000) Plus Commission. The selected candidates commission will be Based on Qualifications & Experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
