**MUST have an AZ State Caregiver Certificate in order to apply/interview

Apply in-person Monday- Friday between 9:00a-3:00pm for a same day interview.

The Certified Caregivers’ role is to assist in providing quality health care to the residents at Hacienda Del Rey. The Certified Caregivers provide “hands-on” care with the residents in a courteous, respectful manner. The Certified Caregiver responds to the overall needs of the residents. The Certified Caregiver reports directly to the Health Services team or to the facility nurse in the absence of the Health Services Team or to the Medication Technician in the absence of both.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Must be certified by an assisted living training facility that is approved by the Department of Health as a Certified Caregiver for Direct, Supervisory and Personal Care or have proof (grandfather status) of continuous employment in this area prior to November 1998.

· Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

· Must be at least 18 years old.

· Minimum of 3 months prior experience in health care setting preferred.

· Must be able to take direction in a pleasant and professional manner and be willing to assist and orient new employees.

· Must be certified in CPR and First Aid. (no online certifications will be accepted)

· Must have fingerprint clearance card, or evidence of submission of prints to obtain a card.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $19.50 per hour
