Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking a Neuropsychologist for hybrid work in both Skilled Nursing Facility and Assisted Living Facility environments across multiple states.

Position Summary

The Neuropsychologist provides comprehensive bedside neuropsychological and neurobehavioral diagnostic evaluations with the adult and older adult senior population. Neuropsychologists provide differential diagnoses, validate existing diagnosis, provide nonpharmacological interventions, and their assessments are utilized within the facilities to assist with continuation of care, behavior management, and discharge planning.

The Neuropsychologist works within contracted facilities providing direct, in person (bedside) and telehealth neuropsychological assessments. These assessments are conducted with residents of the facility typically aged 60+ who have diagnoses that include Alzheimer's disease, TBI, Vascular dementia, schizophrenia, and anxiety/depression.

Clinical Location

  • Facilities throughout BHS markets (OR, UT, CO, NM, AZ)

Job Duties

  • Provide Neuropsychology Evaluations to adults and seniors within a long-term, Assisted/Skilled, or rehabilitation setting.
  • Provide in-service and education training with facility staff and attend behavior management committee meetings as needed.
  • Administrative duties such as weekly documentation to complete reports, submit weekly billing claims sheets, and communicate with supervisor and colleagues in a timely manner consistent with ethical/legal guidelines and facility needs.
  • NPs will be assigned to a grouping of contracted facilities to perform NP evaluations for all referred patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams both within BHS and the facilities services are conducted with including medical, psychiatry, therapy, nursing, and administrative staff.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice in respective state as a clinical psychologist
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. Degree (required)
  • 3+ years’ experience in neuropsychology (preferred)
  • Fellowship Trained (preferred)
  • Must provide 2 de-identified report samples for review before the secondary interview.
  • Some facilities may require up-to-date vaccinations or appropriate exemptions.
  • TB Test
  • CPR/AED/First Aid Certification

Pay Range

  • $120,000 - $140,000 annually DOE
