Ark Services for Youth - Case Manager, Youth Independent Living

Assist homeless adolescents and young adults to become self-sufficient and move to independent housing by providing intensive individual and group services. Provide case management by interacting with youth using a positive youth development approach, and empowering youth to reach their goals. Provide supervision to youth placed in transitional housing in group and scattered sites. Collaborate with community partners to maintain the integrity of CCDOK leased properties. Maintain compliance with grant directives. To promote the mission of Catholic Charities and positive working relationships among staff

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or similar field.
• Experience working with at-risk adolescents and young adults.

OTHER:

• Must have a valid driver's license with less than 6 points and proof of current automobile insurance for bodily injury liability coverage for at least $500,000 combined single limit.
• Ability to be sensitive and responsive to diversity/diverse populations.
• Ability to set limits and boundaries that maintain the helping role of a case manager and assist others with setting healthy boundaries.
• Work independently and as a part of a team in sometimes stressful and multiple situations.
• Possess the ability to collaborate with landlords on maintaining health, safety and the integrity of an apartment in which clients/youth are living.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
• Know and follow the code of ethics for the applicable profession.

HOURS: 40 hours/week, including some evening hours and weekends

STATUS: Hourly, non-exempt, benefit eligible

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
