Job Overview
Southwest Patrol is seeking a vigilant and dedicated Armed Guards to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. As an Armed Guard, you will serve as the frontline protector, utilizing your law enforcement background, surveillance skills, and conflict management expertise to maintain a secure environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your security knowledge in a dynamic setting, ensuring peace of mind for everyone on-site. Your proactive approach and commitment to safety will be vital in preventing incidents and responding swiftly when needed.

Shifts available

Graveyard: Friday-Tuesday and Wednesday-Sunday approximately 10pm-6am

Daytime: Saturday-Tuesday and Saturday-Wednesday approximately 6am-2pm

Requirements

-Valid guard card, valid firearms permit, at least one form of less lethal cert and duty equipment.

-No visible tattoos, no offensive face or head piercings.

-Must be a team player and hold a strong sense of professionalism

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough security checks of personnel, visitors, and deliveries to prevent theft, vandalism, or security breaches
• Respond promptly to alarms or incident reports, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as necessary
• Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and issuing passes for authorized individuals
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches with accuracy and clarity

Skills

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields with a strong understanding of security protocols
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• First aid certification and CPR training to respond effectively during medical emergencies
• Familiarity with legal regulations related to security operations and use of force policies
• Strong communication skills for clear reporting, documentation, and interaction with team members and emergency responders

Pay: $34.50 per hour
