DEFENDER ONE SEEKING Part Time Armed Guard for Baltimore and Surrounding Areas

Position Overview

Schedule: Friday / Saturday / Sunday / Monday

Shifts: start times will vary day or evenings hours

Defender One is seeking professional Part-Time Armed Security Guard in Maryland. This position is ideal for individual looking for additional income, working up to a maximum of 29 hours weekly.

Part-Time Guards play a vital role in maintaining safety and security across diverse assignments and locations.

Requirements

• Licensing & Credentials:
• Active, non-expired Maryland State Police Security Guard Card.
• Active, non-expired Maryland State Police Handgun Permit.
• Evidence of security guard training as required by the Maryland State Police and Maryland Police Training Commission.
• 2 years of armed security experience
• Driving Requirements:
• Active, non-expired driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation to travel to assigned location.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to remain on feet or walk for extended periods.
• Capacity to work in various weather conditions, including inclement weather.
• Awareness &Conduct:
• Strong situational awareness and vigilance at all times.
• Strict prohibition of personal phone use while on duty.

Training & Standards

• Firearm Standards:
• Only standardized and approved firearms are permitted.

Holster must be a level 3

Utility Belt must be black

2 mag holder of at least 15 rounds(must be able to wear on utility belt)

The following duty firearms (no manual safety) are approved for use by Defender One employees, as Armed Officers:

• Applicants must pass pre-service and in-service firearm qualifications to demonstrate fundamental skills.
• Training will be required for individuals unable to meet these standards prior to deployment.
