Job Overview

Stratton Security Group is seeking reliable and professional On-Call Security Patrol Officers to provide coverage for call-offs, open shifts, emergency staffing needs, and last-minute client requests throughout our residential and patrol divisions.

This position is ideal for officers seeking flexibility while maintaining the opportunity to work consistent hours. Officers will be contacted as shifts become available and may be assigned to residential communities, HOA patrols, private estates, vehicle patrol routes, apartment communities, construction sites, and special assignments.

Officers who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, and availability may be offered permanent full-time assignments as positions become available.

Responsibilities

• Accept and cover open shifts due to officer call-offs, vacations, emergencies, and staffing shortages.
• Conduct vehicle patrols and foot patrols as assigned.
• Monitor residential communities, private properties, apartment complexes, and commercial locations.
• Perform perimeter checks, access control, and property inspections.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, suspicious activity, and client concerns.
• Complete detailed incident reports, activity reports, and patrol logs.
• Maintain a professional presence while representing the company at various assignments.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, clients, residents, and law enforcement when necessary.
• Follow all post orders, company policies, and client-specific procedures.
• Safely operate company patrol vehicles when assigned.

Requirements

• Valid California Guard Card
• Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to respond to shift opportunities on short notice
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior patrol, residential, HOA, or mobile security experience
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Experience working multiple assignments and adapting to different environments
• Familiarity with Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Encino, and Bel Air areas
