Armed Patrol Officer Swing

Gates Security is hiring ONE Armed Patrol Officer for Ventura County. This position involves responding to calls for service, conducting patrols, and supporting community safety operations.

This is a field-based role for individuals who are proactive, professional, and comfortable working independently.

Pay

• $27.00/hour starting pay
• $28.00/hour after successful completion of training

Schedule (After Training)

• Thursday – Sunday
• 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
• 4 days on, 3 days off

Training Schedule (First 4 Weeks)

• Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Duties Include

• Responding to alarms, disturbances, trespassing, and burglaries
• Conducting mobile community patrols
• Parking enforcement
• Locking and unlocking amenity areas
• Writing clear, detailed reports
• Maintaining a visible and professional presence
• Communicating with clients, residents, and law enforcement

Minimum Requirements

• BSIS Guard Card
• BSIS Firearm Permit
• BSIS Baton Permit
• Chemical Agents (OC) Permit
• Ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM (test required)
• Open availability, including nights and weekends
• Must own a duty firearm (9mm or .40 caliber)
• Must have a Level 3 duty holster and full duty belt
• Must have a concealable Level IIIA vest

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of armed patrol experience
• Experience responding to calls for service
• PC 832 Arrest and Control certification
