Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of school premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
• Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, to oversee activity across campus areas continuously
• Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
• Manage access control by verifying identities of visitors, contractors, and authorized personnel
• Enforce school safety policies while maintaining positive relationships with students and staff
• Provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations to stabilize individuals until professional help arrives
• Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly

Skills

• Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles with a focus on school or public safety
• Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
• Knowledge of conflict management strategies to de-escalate tense situations effectively
• Certification in first aid and CPR to respond confidently during medical emergencies
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly while making quick decisions under pressure
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with staff, students, law enforcement, and emergency responders
• Familiarity with loss prevention tactics and security protocols to protect school property and assets
