NuWu Cannabis is seeking professional Armed Security Guards to support operations at one of our company facilities in the northwest Las Vegas area near our NuWu North location in Centennial Hills.

Security Guards help maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and company property while following established procedures in a regulated cannabis and tribal enterprise.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong situational awareness, professionalism, and the ability to remain calm in a variety of situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine patrols to help maintain a safe and secure environment
• Monitor facility entry and exit points in accordance with established procedures
• Observe and report unusual activity, safety concerns, or policy violations
• Respond to alarms or disturbances following company protocols
• Monitor security cameras and security systems
• Maintain daily activity logs and incident reports
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members using security communication devices
• Assist with facility opening and closing procedures
• Support a professional and orderly work environment
• Administer first aid or CPR when trained and appropriate
• Report safety concerns or facility issues to the Security Lead or Security Manager

Qualifications:

• MUST BE ARMED and provide your own firearm that complies with all applicable regulations. Proof of firearm registration and proper training required, and a valid armed guard certification is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Maintain a valid drivers license.
• Previous customer service or security-related experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent judgment, observation skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or emergency situations.
• Basic proficiency in computer systems, including surveillance software and incident reporting tools.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Must pass a background check and drug screening per company and regulatory requirements.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical patrols for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform duties in various weather and lighting conditions, both indoors and outdoors.

Schedule & Availability:

• This role requires availability for nights (including graveyard shifts), weekends, and holidays.
• Shifts may extend beyond scheduled hours depending on operational needs.

Work Environment:

This position supports operations at a company facility located in the northwest Las Vegas area near Centennial Hills.

Security Guards work in both indoor and outdoor conditions supporting general facility operations. For security purposes, the exact facility location will be provided during the hiring process.
