Hiring:

Seeking reliable Security Agents to roster as (1099) Independent Contractors.

Employment may be dependent upon passing a background investigation and drug screening.

Role Description:

This Armed Contract Security work is ad hoc (as needed) with some assignments requesting coverage ASAP, whiles others have a few days or a week notice of when coverage will be needed.

A minimum number of hours per week is not guaranteed.
Hours can vary greatly depending on the need of each client.

Duties often involve the day-to-day tasks of observing, reporting, conducting surveillance, providing excellent customer service, ensuring physical and personnel security, and completing detailed incident reports if necessary.

Typical assignments may range from: warehouse or industrial site patrol, to workforce reduction, to executive protection, to natural disaster response, and beyond. Coverage often does not include large crowd events, schools, hospitals, subsidized housing, homeless shelters, and locations that serve liquor.

The majority of assignments are non-uniformed but may adhere to a simple business casual dress code, military / L.E. style, or occasionally a higher profile, business look.

Work Assignments are at the variety of client locations throughout Georgia - often within an hour of Atlanta. Some requests may be in more rural areas. Such further site locations might involve some mileage and/or lodging reimbursement.

Preferred Skills:

- Current / Active State Certified Armed Security Guard License

- Current / Active Georgia Peace Officer Standards Training (POST) Certification

- Valid Driver License

- 3+ Years of Armed Security and/or related field work

- CPR / First Aid / AED Certification

- Knowledge of Use of Force and De-escalation Techniques

- An Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Security, or related field

Required Qualifications:

At total of 4 to 5 years of: Law Enforcement (Police, Corrections, etc. - not private security) or direct Military service (United States Navy, Army, etc.)

- Physical, Personnel, and Surveillance Security proficiency

- Strong observation, customer service, communication, interpersonal, and de-escalation skills

- Aptitude to handle challenging situations with professionalism
