Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches
• Utilize CCTV surveillance systems to observe and record activities, ensuring continuous monitoring of key zones
• Manage access control by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR if certified
• Enforce security policies and conflict management protocols to de-escalate tense situations effectively
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents or investigations as needed
• Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records to ensure accurate documentation of all activities

Requirements

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified
• Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV operation and loss prevention techniques
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and decisively while managing conflicts professionally
• Knowledge of security procedures, conflict management strategies, and emergency response protocols
• Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and inspections
• Valid security license or ability to obtain required licensing according to local regulations

Pay: $22.50 - $25.50 per hour
