Armed Security Guard (MS State Guard Card REQUIRED)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Professional to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. The Armed Security Officer will work closely with law enforcement agencies and utilize various security measures to ensure the safety of individuals and assets.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect any suspicious activity or unauthorized access.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
• Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems and other monitoring equipment.
• Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals in distress.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement as needed during incidents or investigations.
• Maintain detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping purposes.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid armed security officer license or certification as required by state regulations.
• Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of conflict management techniques and loss prevention strategies.
• Proficiency in surveillance operations, including the use of CCTV systems.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during long shifts.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and collaboration with team members.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
