Position Summary

We are currently seeking Armed Security Officers to join our growing team. As a frontline protector, you will be responsible for providing armed presence, monitoring assigned sites, enforcing access control, and responding decisively to incidents and threats. You will be expected to maintain high situational awareness, exercise sound judgment under pressure, and consistently project a professional and composed demeanor. This position requires a combination of vigilance, customer service, and tactical readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide armed security and visible deterrence at designated client locations
• Monitor surveillance systems and conduct routine patrols of premises
• Control access to restricted areas and verify authorized personnel
• Identify, assess, and appropriately respond to suspicious behavior or potential threats
• De-escalate conflicts and manage situations with professionalism and authority
• Prepare accurate and detailed daily activity logs and incident reports
• Liaise with clients, supervisors, and law enforcement/emergency personnel as needed
• Enforce site-specific rules, protocols, and emergency procedures
• Remain alert, on post, and properly equipped throughout shift
• Uphold Secur0d’s brand values of integrity, presence, and adaptability at all times

Minimum Qualifications

• Must possess valid Florida Class D and Class G Security Licenses (current and in good standing)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in armed security, military, or law enforcement preferred
• Strong observational skills, situational awareness, and critical decision-making ability
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure environments
• Must pass background check, randomized drug screening, and personal screening process
• Reliable transportation and availability for various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Fluent in English; bilingual a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High personal integrity, punctuality, and professional appearance required

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field
• Familiarity with radios, surveillance systems, report writing tools, and emergency response protocols
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification
• Defensive tactics or de-escalation training
• Knowledge of South Florida's regional security risks and dynamics
