Armed Security Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Armed Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in law enforcement, military experience, or security operations, along with excellent conflict management skills. This role requires a responsible individual capable of handling emergency situations with composure and professionalism. The Armed Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring surveillance systems, conducting patrols, and enforcing security protocols to maintain a safe environment.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect suspicious activity.
• Monitor CCTV and surveillance systems to oversee security footage and identify potential threats.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, providing appropriate action including first aid or CPR if necessary.
• Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of daily activities.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies.
• Provide excellent conflict management to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
• Ensure all security equipment is operational and report any malfunctions promptly.

Skills

• Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is highly desirable.
• Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV operation and monitoring.
• Excellent conflict management and de-escalation abilities.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Good physical condition with the ability to stand for extended periods and respond quickly when needed.
• Effective communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately.
